PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidisha M.P. is one of the 14500 schools selected under PM SHRI Scheme in Phase-1.The Vidyalaya is located on Sanchi Vidisha Road, which is 3 KM away from the Railway Station and 2 KM away from the Bus Stand. The foundation stone of this Vidyalaya was laid by the then District Collector and Chairman VMC Shri R. K. Mathur in October 2005 in the presence of Dr. (Mrs) V. Vjayalakshmi Assistant Commissioner KVS RO Bhopal. The present strength is 960 (Approx). There are 24 sections (2 section from class I to X and one section each of class XI Commerce and class XI science and one section each of class XII Commerce and Class XII Science) with adequate staff and infrastructure to meet up the needs of the students as per NEP 2020. The average students strength per section is about 40.The Vidyalaya has a committed team of teachers and staff members working towards the all round development of students studying here, equipping them with all 21st Century Skills and nurture them to become responsible citizen of tomorrow.
